About Me.
I have been a casting director for over 20 years, working on projects spanning television, theatre and film. Television credits include four series of Silent Witness, the award-winning Don’t Take My Baby, Our World War and Glasgow Girls, as well as international projects for Warner Bros and Sky Arts. With Sam Stevenson, I was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for our work on the BBC1 adaptation of Emma. My work in theatre includes many productions with Sir Peter Hall, Howard Davies, Thea Sharrock, Blanche McIntyre, Adam Penford, Simon Godwin, Madani Younis, and Melly Still. Most recently, I worked in-house at BBC Studios Drama Productions, casting Casualty, Father Brown, Shakespeare & Hathaway and Sister Boniface Mysteries.
I am now turning my expertise to helping actors realise their full potential, building on my extensive casting career and my many years' experience as a workshop leader. Most recently I developed and ran a nationwide project for BBC Studios Drama Productions and Spotlight, to bring screen acting training to actors who have no on-screen experience.
